Bagno Ventaglio is a beach, restaurant, pizzeria, bar and chiringuito on the sand, on the Adriatic coast just outside Ravenna.

It is the perfect place to enjoy “eating by the sea”: breakfast, lunch, aperitifs under your umbrella or at the beach bar, and dinner with the sound of the waves.

One day, a week, a month or the whole season: at Bagno Ventaglio you discover the Romagna Riviera through good food, a relaxed atmosphere and a view of the sea.

We are made for families and for anyone who wants to relax, have fun and eat well. Children have a large playground with slides, swings and a trampoline, and sports lovers can play beach volleyball and beach tennis (racchettoni).

In the evenings we host themed nights, live music, karaoke, aperitifs with DJ sets and “giropizza” (all-you-can-eat pizza nights).

Our restaurant welcomes you in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff. Quality fish cooked the traditional way is the heart of our simple, flavourful dishes. Perfect for a quick lunch during a beach day, a family dinner or an evening with friends by the sea.

When are you open?

We are open every day, from early morning until the evening, from the start of the season (usually late March) until around 10 November. There is no weekly closing day.

What are your opening hours?

We open early in the morning for breakfast and stay open through dinner; the restaurant and pizzeria serve both lunch and dinner. On many days the weather decides the exact hours, so we recommend contacting us before you come.

Are you open outside the summer season?

We operate from late March to early November. Outside this period the beach club is closed, but you can reach us on social media and WhatsApp for bookings and information about the next season.

Where can I park? Is there a free shuttle?

Parking on the seafront can be limited in summer, so we offer a free shuttle for our guests from the nearest car parks. Call our driver on +39 320 786 0751 for pick-up times and points. Pick-up points: car park 1 and car park 2.

Can I come by bike or on foot?

Of course! Punta Marina can be reached along the cycle paths of the Romagna Riviera, and we have space to park your bike.

How do I book a beach umbrella and sunbeds?

Call us or write on WhatsApp to +39 333 600 4073, or contact us on social media. We recommend booking in advance, especially in high season.

Is there a playground for children?

Yes! We have a playground right on the beach where children can play safely while parents relax with a glass of wine or a cocktail.

I booked an umbrella but can't come on some days. Do I lose it?

No! With the umbrella sharing service you report your absence on the Spiagge.it app: your spot is offered to another guest and you receive an automatic credit on your card, which you can spend at our bar, restaurant or pizzeria. You only need an email address linked to your booking and a Spiagge.it account with the same email.

What kind of food do you serve?

Traditional Romagna seafood, pasta with fish and meat dishes. Guests’ favourites include cappelletti with prawns, strozzapreti allo scoglio, passatelli, mussels “alla tarantina” and our mixed fried seafood. Our pizza is just as popular.

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes! The day starts early with breakfast: a croissant, a cappuccino and the sound of the waves.

Can I have dinner on the beach?

Yes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and we often organise evenings with live music.

Do you cater for allergies and intolerances?

Yes. We have a full list of the allergens in every dish, available online and shown by our staff on request. Many dishes can be adapted: always tell us about allergies and intolerances when you book and when you order.

Can I book for a large group?

Yes! We welcome families, groups of friends and larger groups. Please book in advance, especially for event nights, holidays and in August.

Do you have live music and events?

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept VISA and Mastercard.

Of course! Bagno Ventaglio is the perfect setting for birthdays, christenings, communions, weddings and any special occasion on the beach.
